Dr. Lise Vaugeois

Composer, musician, scholar and educator, Dr. Lise Vaugeois has a Diploma in Performance and Communication Skills from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, a Masters of Education from Lakehead University and a PhD in Music Education from the University of Toronto where she had the opportunity to study choral directing with Doreen Rao. With the support of the Gentlemen of Harmony and Sing Canada, Lise has immersed herself in the techniques and history of Barbershop singing at Harmony University in Nashville, Tennessee and, in addition to directing, is now writing arrangements for the group to sing.  Formerly a professional French Hornist, Lise currently teaches in the Faculty of Education at Lakehead University.
